Boo: Class registration down as classes begin

The spring 2009 semester got off to a clumsy start as ASU’s class registration system was, at times, not allowing any students to add, drop, or swap classes.  Some students, told by professors they had to add their class that day or be barred from attending, were observed to be in tears when finding they could not successfully register.

Would it have killed anyone to run a stress test to see how much traffic the class registration system could take?

Boo: Limited Recycling Opportunities on Campus

ASU incredibly has a School of Sustainability and entire buildings with no recycling bins.

If you agree this is a problem, two clicks on FixASU.com registers your complaint.

A big, big “BOO” to ASU!

Bravo: Laptop Workstation in CSE lab

There are now a number of laptop workstations in the Brickyard lab, which allow laptop users to grab a second, widescreen (1440 x 900) monitor (with DVI and analog inputs), plug in to Ethernet, and use a convenient powerstrip.

Bravo!  Now we only wish there were a few more!
